Aguinaldo's team in action at Lowell St. FIRE STATION.

This year, something new happened.  Nieves Lajara, Veronica’s Sister brough the idea to going with our “Aguinaldo” to the FIRE STATION at Lowell St. where she works. It was nice and cool.

For those who don’t know what “Aguinaldo” does mean, It is Singing Christmas songs. We used to bring music and happiness outside of Our House to some homes previously choosen in the North Common neighborhood. This year we included by the first time,  the Fire Station.

Fire brigade and “Singers team” = Aguinaldo team.

After our artistic  “Aguinaldo”debut at the Fire Station, we gave them coffee and cookies. Then, we came back to Hennigan Center to sing the Christmast Songs to the staff  and volunteers.
Who were the singers? ??headed by Altagracia, there were Dario, Rafael and Virgilio Silverio, who later had a wonderful participation on the Karaoke activity.
Nelson, Spencer, Stephanie, , Eva, and more who joined us following our journey to the Silvestre’s house, then, the Carroll House. and so on…The hosts offered us Ginger tea, hot chocolate, coffee and delicios treat.
We came back to Our House to continue the program which included  Veronica’s memories, a contest of  “El Mejor Pernil Navideno”. The Winner was Hugo Monroy from Guatemala. Congratulations Hugo!! Karaoke in Spanish, raffles, Information about the Veronica Casado’s Schoolarship , delicious food and fun were available.
